Participating in WARPNINE's 2025 24-Hour Challenge is a powerful way to support innovative clinical trials for pancreatic, gastro-intestinal, and rare cancers. Here's how you can get involved:

1. Choose Your Challenge

Select an activity that you can commit to for 24 hours. This could be a continuous endeavour or a series of activities spread over the day. Examples include:

Push Your Limits: Endurance Challenges for the Determined (For those who love  movement)

  • Boxing: Hit the bag or shadowbox.

  • Running/Walking: Aim for a marathon distance, relay with a team, or commit to a set number of steps.

  • Cycling: Stationary or road biking—set distance goals or a time target.

  • Swimming: Swim laps. 

  • Rowing: Use an indoor rowing machine or kayak in shifts.

  • Skipping: Set a jump rope goal, e.g., 10,000 skips!

Creative & Unique Challenges (For those who want to think outside the box!)

  • Music Marathon: Play an instrument, DJ, or host a live music stream.

  • Gaming for Good: Stream games online and challenge yourself with different levels or endurance play.

  • Painting for a Purpose: Create artwork for 24 hours—sell pieces for donations.

  • Jigsaw Puzzle Challenge: Complete a massive puzzle with friends over 24 hours.

  • Comedy or Storytelling Marathon: Keep an audience entertained with live or virtual conten

Strength and Endurance Challenges
(for those who love a test of resilience)

  • Push-up or Squat Challenge: Set a goal (e.g., 2,400 reps over 24 hours).

  • Plank Challenge: Hold planks at set intervals throughout the day.

  • Treadmill/Stepper Relay: Keep the machine running non-stop with team shifts.

  • Yoga or Pilates Marathon: Lead a class or commit to practicing every hour.​

Foodie-Based Challenges
(For those who love to cook, eat, and share!)

  • 4-Hour Bake-Off: Bake non-stop and donate or sell goods for fundraising.

  • Ultimate Cook-A-Thon: Cook a different dish every hour or set a record for meals made.

  • Around-the-World Challenge: Make and try dishes from 24 different countries.

  • Biggest Feast Fundraiser: Host a non-stop potluck where friends and family contribute meals.

  • Spicy Food Challenge: Try progressively spicier foods over 24 hours.

  • MasterChef Style Challenge: Compete in cooking rounds and get supporters to vote for the winners.

Community and Team Challenges
(for those who love social energy)

  • 24-Hour Group Relay: Form a team and tag in and out for an activity like walking, cycling, or skipping.

  • Gym Takeover: Coordinate with a gym for members to contribute an hour each.

  • Dance-A-Thon: Non-stop dancing—solo, with friends, or via livestream!

  • Trivia Night Marathon: Keep the brain working with trivia rounds every hour.

Mind Over Matter Challenges (For those who love strategy, learning, and mental endurance!)

  • Brain Buster Challenge: Solve 24 brain teasers, riddles, or puzzles—one every hour!

  • Ultimate Chess or Board Game Marathon: Play continuous rounds of chess, Scrabble, or other strategy games, testing your endurance and skill.

  • Trivia Gauntlet: Host or compete in 24 hours of trivia, covering different topics every round.

  • Debate-A-Thon: Engage in a series of friendly debates on fascinating topics over 24 hours.

  • Escape Room Marathon: Complete back-to-back escape room challenges or design one for others!

​2. Register your participation 

Sign up through our official 24-Hour Challenge page. Registration ensures you receive all necessary information and support materials.

3. Fundraise for the Cause

Set a fundraising goal and share your challenge with friends, family, and colleagues. Utilize social media, email, and personal networks to spread the word. Consider creating a crowdfunding page to track donations and keep supporters updated.

4. Prepare for the Event

  • Plan Your Activity: Outline how you'll manage the 24 hours, including rest breaks and nutrition.

  • Gather Supplies: Ensure you have all necessary equipment and provisions.

  • Promote Your Challenge: Use the hashtag #WARPNINE24HRChallenge to connect with other participants and raise awareness.

 

5. During the Challenge

  • Stay Connected: Share live updates, photos, and videos on social media to engage your audience.

  • Monitor Your Well-being: Listen to your body and take breaks as needed.

  • Encourage Support: Remind followers how they can donate and support your efforts.

 

6. After the Challenge

  • Thank Your Supporters: Express gratitude to everyone who contributed.

  • Share Your Experience: Post a recap of your challenge, highlighting successes and lessons learned.

  • Submit Donations: Ensure all collected funds are forwarded to WARPNINE promptly.
